New Beginnings

Today I turn in the keys to the Nampa boutique location as I move forward on my adventures with the Brass Razoo.  I am so excited for this next chapter.  I am working on the website- finally, and am working on spending some time away from the daily running of the boutique to focus on being a designer and to get some much needed rest.  I am so excited to be able to take some time to pour into designs that I have being wanting to work on for so long but never have time for.  I am so grateful for the overwhelming support for the store and do not want to disappoint as I take a bit of a break.  However, I will be better able to serve and design with some time to be re inspired and rejuvenated.

Step one for today is to turn in the keys to the store.
Step two is to work on the product photography for the website.  I will give you a sneak peak of the photos tomorrow!
Wish me luck.

Spring Windows

Here are the Spring-inspired designs currently displayed in the store windows.  I'm clearly very excited for warm weather, dresses, and some good old fashioned vitamin D!

Transitional looks for spring

Here are some colors and styles that inspire me through the transition from Winter to Spring.

Beckoning Spring

I've begun designing my store windows for a Spring display; right now I'm really inspired by birds and branches.  These images are a sneak peak at my current window designs.

elise starts a blog

To begin with, many people ask me what a Brass Razoo is and why I would chose this for the name of my store.  Brass Razoo is defined as, "a non-existent coin of trivial value."  The concept behind the name is that of restored value and beauty.  The pieces behind the brand are designed using reclaimed materials. Thus, deriving new worth and potential from pieces that otherwise would have been disregarded.  The designs are combined with new materials to provide a high quality unique product.  Each piece is to be a reminder that we all possess potential, value, worth, beauty, and are perfectly unique. Thru this blog, I hope to convey the inspirations behind my designs, share my current and upcoming projects, and give you a look behind the scenes of the Brass Razoo.
